Project Overview
Let it go is a website for moms: Buy and sell gently-used kids' clothes with ease!
All parents know that their children's clothes do not have a long life in their closets. They would appreciate a platform where they can easily and safely buy and sell their children's items.
Project Goal:
Design a website where parents can effortlessly browse and purchase items from other kids while also providing a secure platform for them to resell their children's clothes.

The Process
To achieve our set goals, I decided to study both our target audience and successful competitors of our company. Additionally, I explored stores selling new kids' clothes. Another focal point was verifying their user checkout flow.
Research
I started my research by studying the target audience and analyzing competitors. Then, I looked into some of their similar platforms, analyzed their websites, the intuitiveness of their user experience, their user flow, Information Architecture and also any key features. I also used the internet, social media, and friends to further explore the competitors and target audience.
As a result, I discovered that parents invest a significant amount of money in purchasing clothes for their kids, who tend to outgrow them quickly.
Ideate
Design
Based on my research and Product Manager information I created Julia as my User Persona. Representing my targeted audience's motivations, frustrations, need, and goals during the completion of the task.

User research: pain points

With the user's pain point defined, I started on designing the screens guided by my research findings and persona. The idea is design a website where the parents can find the informations easily. I also added a page to explain how the website works to make it trustable.

Digital Wireframes
At this phase, I planned the app screens based on the users' needs, ensuring a streamlined and quick app process.

A quick guerrilla test of the low-fidelity design revealed that users generally appreciated the design. During this rapid testing session, my objective was to assess the design's intuitiveness, trustworthiness, and ease of navigation for users—from finding the right item to making a purchase. Two in-person interviews, each lasting about 15 minutes, were conducted, and all participants successfully completed the assigned tasks.

Test
For the next Let it go user testing sessions, I Interviewed three people that fit into the website's target audience. Before diving into the testing process, I introduced myself and got to know the users. I wanted to find out how intuitive the design is and how easy for users to navigate from finding the right item to purchase. All the interviews were conducted in person. Each interview lasted about 15 minutes.

I thoroughly enjoyed working on this project. It allowed me to address user problems, enhance their quality of life, and contribute to sustainability. Additionally, I would recommend developing a mobile app or a mobile version of this website, making it easily accessible for busy parents anywhere."
