Hey There!
My story
Hello, my name is Flavia. I am Brazilian and, my background is in law. I worked as a lawyer for a big Bank in my home Town for 5 years. However, while my career was developing, it had never given me a sense of fulfillment.
But in 2017, my life changed greatly, after moving to the Canada. I didn't want to continue to be a lawyer. My husband supported me and gave me time to find out what I wanted. So I started to study English and work as a nanny. My ex-boss is a designer and she used to share her work experience with me. I got so curious that I decided to search about web development.

In 2020, I finished my Nanodegree in Front End Development, I learned a lot, but at the end of the course I was sure that I love design much more than development. So I decided to start a Google UX Design Professional Certificate and, I felt like a puzzle had formed. It is what I want to study and dedicate my career to it.
Both roles taught me self-confidence, adaptability, problem-solving skills, self-motivation, team orientation and inspiring trust in customers. I have been learning, taking courses, and creating projects continuously for the past year to show my dedication and my skills set.
I am back to my home Town in Brazil, but I still have Canada Permanent Residence (PR Card).
My focus is mainly on UI/UX, and I can quickly learn any new technology needed. I'm passionate about interface design and the ability designers have to create products to meet user’s needs. I am always open to opportunities for UI/UX designer!
I know this journey will never stop. To be a good UX Designer means to keep learning and constantly improving skills.
